Room04 - SustiKKriszta

The SustiKKrisztA brand was born in 2012, characterized primarily by spontaneity and experimentation. Collections are not created on a typical schedule nor do they follow current trends; instead, the clothes are often inspired and shaped by momentary feelings. The designer, Kriszta, doesn't conform to expectations but relies on her instincts and intuition. Her mind is filled with countless ideas that become clearer and take their final form through experimentation.

Kriszta spent a few years living in Vienna, where she designed and created wedding dresses and rhythmic gymnastics costumes. Even then, her clothes blended elegance and sporty lines, with bold corsets and elastic tulle skirts that draped beautifully, often accented with colorful elastics for a sporty touch. This blend remains in her work today as she enjoys merging these two styles.

Her pieces reflect her vision and personality, as one of her favorite genres is science fiction. She loves using impregnated fabrics, often combined with cotton inner layers, to create pieces with a futuristic feel, blending edginess with elegance. The unique shapes of hoods, pockets, and water-repellent materials convey a sense of protection, which might play a significant role in the future.

Kriszta thrives on challenges and is inspired by collaborating with artists and musicians who share a similar vision. She has a strong passion for designing costumes and has created performance outfits for Anna and the Barbies, Noémo, The Biebers, Anez, and other bands.

She has also participated in various creative projects, such as collaborating with the Morpho company for Thyssenkrupp, winning the Mediadesign gold medal in 2015 and the Prizma Kreatív bronze medal in 2016.

For Kriszta, the process of creation, self-realization, new challenges, and freedom are paramount. She aims to explore many different fields, creating without constraints or expectations, ensuring her work remains meaningful.
