Room01- Grapoila

It all started with grapes more than ten years ago. We noticed that wineries were generating large amounts of grape marc and didn't know what to do with it. This byproduct, however, holds valuable treasures in the form of nutrient-rich skins and tiny seeds. First, the grape skins must be separated from the seeds, and both need to be thoroughly dried. The grape skins are then ground into a powder and sold as an excellent source of antioxidants. From the grape seeds, we press oil, and the resulting press cake is ground into grape seed flour.

Grape skin powder and grape seed flour can be used as additives in bread baking, mixed into cakes, or added to yogurt. The sediment from oil settling is offered as a cosmetic product, ideal for use in face masks, exfoliants, and as a massage base, thanks to its skin-nourishing properties and all-natural ingredients.

From the sediments of other tasty seeds, we create creams, such as walnut, almond, and pumpkin seed creams.

Grape seed oil can be used for cooking, baking, or as a dietary supplement, as it is a source of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. We also use grape seed oil to make soap and lip balm. Our production method ensures that no waste is generated—this is the essence of our "zero waste" technology.

We are committed to ensuring that future generations can also enjoy the natural beauties of our planet. We hope you will contribute to environmental protection through careful and mindful choices.

Awards

In 2018, our organic paprika seed oil won a silver trophy at the Natexpo exhibition in Lyon. Our gourmet mustard sauces received the Grand Prize in Food Industry at the OMÉK 2019, and our rosehip seed oil won a silver medal at the International Taste Awards in Italy in January 2020.

Production

We believe that natural, chemical-free foods are the cornerstone of quality nutrition. Seeds are nature's marvels: tiny microcosms filled with valuable nutrients that can be unlocked with a little care and skill—this skill is cold pressing. This method ensures we extract the carefully guarded nutrients from the seeds using purely mechanical means, preserving their chemical integrity without the need for roasting, solvents, chemical clarification, or deodorization.

Throughout the production process, we maintain temperatures below 40°C, ensuring that the natural scents, flavors, and nutrients of the seeds are fully preserved in the finished products. Cold-pressed seed oils are healthy fats, rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and significant amounts of vitamin E and antioxidants. Each oil has unique nutritional characteristics. Our flaxseed oil, for instance, is renowned for its plant-based Omega-3 fatty acids, while our grape seed oil is rich in resveratrol, supporting and protecting the body against diseases.

The Company

Our headquarters are in Budapest, and in 2019, we established our own site and warehouse in the 22nd district. Our oil pressing plant was built in 2009 in Püspökladány, in the eastern part of Hungary. We develop our own presses to extract oil from a wide variety of seeds with maximum efficiency using only mechanical methods. We now process 18 different types of seeds using cold pressing and zero waste production methods.

Our Future Path

The high quality of our products has been recognized by many gourmet restaurants and star chefs, who use our cold-pressed oils, seed flours, and seed creams in their seasonally changing culinary creations. Our success in the food and gastronomy sectors confirms that we are on the right track, with a growing demand for plant-based, chemical-free, high-quality products.
